Shot in the Northern Quarter, Manchester. a collaboration with two Fashion Art Design students, to creating futuristic inspired shoot. The model styled her own outfits, inspired by the theme I provided to her. We looked at images for inspiration online, looking at specific colour schemes in order to reimagine specific garments from her own wardrobe. This meant we could add texture and layering to the outfit and the image itself. Working with two fashion students definitely helped with the progress of the shoot, meaning it was helpful to have different opinions with the styling aspect of the series as these were the main elements that directed you to a narrative and theme. For me it was important to explore the theme of individuality through the way in which people dress- and shooting in this location provided relevant themes and eccentric textures to fit the theme of the shoot, progressing the ideas surrounding futurism.
