'GET HOME SAFE' was largely inspired by the works of Ewen Spencer. I wanted to shoot the niche side of youth culture within British subcultures; The 'GET HOME SAFE' series is universal, allowing more relations to everyone rather than the fads people were expected to follow at the time.  

 

All images were shot in around the nightclubs of Manchester, These clubs included 42s Nightclub, Habitat in off the square and various clubs in Gay village. It is important to me to scout locations filled with people that would catch my eye, where people feel comfortable dressing the way they want to; whilst continuing to explore the ideas surrounding sexuality making sure the work, I am actively making is relevant to my initial ideas and themes.
