For these images I wanted to incorporate the idea surrounding gender, how this comes hand in hand with the idea of perception and how the manipulation of your appearance can change your perception of a person – in this case, this was achieved through the use of 'women's clothing'. This outfit was styled by myself using clothes from my wardrobe. When first proposing this idea of wearing this outfit to the model, he refused as he claimed the clothes were too feminine and he didn’t want to post images of him wearing female clothes. the image is showing a loss of identity as you can't distinguish any facial features which relating to this idea of perception. I like the visual capture of the act of movement, showing a blurred figure. I wanted the majority of my images to be rich in colour, to be intense and polychromatic
